The responsibilities include but are not limited to overseeing the Hostess stand, greet and escort guests to tables in the restaurant, work closely with Restaurant staff, maintain a courteous and efficient operation of the dining room to ensure guest satisfaction, and providing the highest levels of service and professionalism. Performing all duties and adhering to the Food & Beverage Service Standards.
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of additional supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the hotel.
Prior Food & Beverage experience required. High school diploma preferred. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Ability to obtain Food Service Sanitation certification. First Aid and CPR certification preferred. All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available). Ability to converse with guests and employees in English.
